Welcome to your HHNW (Hemel Hempstead Northwest) Residents Website.

This site is brought to you by myself, David Herring, your Hemel Hempstead County Councillor. It is intended that this will be a primary source of information from me relating to what I am doing in the community for you, as well as giving you the opportunity to comment on local issues and raise concerns.
This typically will be in the form of a blog which will be visible on the home page and divided into separate topics. I welcome your input to make it as interactive and informative as possible. If you are going to leave a comment you will need to register to do so and comments will be monitored for appropriateness. Please be mindful of respectful communications.
I will be introducing a ticketing system that will allow you to submit local issues you would like me to take up at County level. This will also will be how I plan to keep you updated on anything you have reported.
I appreciate that not everyone likes to use web apps so you are of course welcome to email if you prefer. I also have a mobile number for my councillor duties, please do not cold call me as it is quite likely I will not be in a position to answer. Instead please send a text or a WhatsApp initially and arrangements can be made for a call if necessary. You will find my contact details in the footer of these web pages.
I would ask you to bear with me while I work on this website as it is a work in progress and will be developing it as we go along. I am also new to post and catching up with requirements at County Hall and having a training and settling in phase.
